Schwarzerblitz is finally near a new release (coming mid August), containing the costumes from the last contest, with twice as much playable content as before. So, let's celebrate with two new contests!
The contest is officially closed. It will take me about one week time to decide the winner(s)!
Thanks to all the people who took part!!! You really made my day
1. Design a character, see it in game
For this contest, you can submit an original character for him to appear in-game in all their beauty There are a couple guidelines to follow:- the character has to be submitted as a drawing/screenshot of any kind (that is, not a 3D mesh file). This "restriction" is enforced to avoid the style of the mesh to be completely different from the already existing ones. You can anyway build a 3D mesh and send me a screenshot of it from several angles;
- any kind of humanoid character is accepted, male, female or whatever;
- any kind of animal mutant is accepted (heck, I already have a sharkman, a tigerman and a lobsterman). Aliens are welcome too;
- no 18+ entry is allowed;
- the setting is: modern day + mutants (see above) and moderate sci-fi/cyberpunk (robots, AI, mechanical augments). The year is 2065. You can have a look at this cronology to have a taste of the setting, though it is not mandatory;
- no long capes or long coats (I still have some troubles in animating them);
- the character must have two legs and up to two arms;
- the character must not be too small (see: Gon in Tekken 3), too game-breaking (see: Boskonovitch in Tekken 3) or too tall (see: Colossus in Soul Calibur III or Abigail in SFV);
- the character full name (name + surname, when applicable) must fit into 15 characters, spaces included. No stresses are allowed (é, è, ò, à ä, ö, ü...). You can choose a separate stage name for the character (es: full name John Doe, stage name Doe). This will be the name which is displayed during a match.
You can submit more than one character.
The deadline is the 1st of September at 00:00 of your own timezone. Entries can be accepted up to 24h later.
One ore more characters will be chosen at the author's discretion. As a rule of thumb, one character every 10 entries will be chosen to star in-game. I reserve the right to change this number depending on the number of entries.
Legal disclaimer: the character will remain property of their creator, which will give me a non-exclusive license to use them in the game. The character will be provided as additional game content without any charge to the users. The character will be made available to the players before the end of November, 2017.
2. Design a stage, see it in game
Stages, as well as characters, are an important part of a fighting game. For this contest, you have to design your own stage, following some loose guidelines:- the stage has to be submitted as a drawing/screenshot of any kind (that is, not a 3D mesh). This "restriction" is enforced to avoid the style of the mesh to be completely different from the already existing ones. You can anyway build a 3D mesh and send me a screenshot of it from several angles;
- the stage can't be infinite;
- the stage can have both walls or open areas which can be used to perform a ring out. If the latter applies, specify where the ring out can be performed (east, west, south, north).
- the stage can have several animated elements in the background, rain, snow, particle effects, changing light colors and flickering lights;
- the only thematic request is modern day/sci-fi. Every variation is welcome, but nothing medieval, please you can anyway unleash your fantasy with bizarre stages. For these, the thematic restriction does not apply;
- you have to submit a name and a short caption for your stage intro.
The deadline is the 1st of September at 00:00 of your own timezone. Entries can be accepted up to 24h later.
One ore more stages will be chosen at the author's discretion. As a rule of thumb, one stage every 5 entries will be chosen to star in-game. I reserve the right to change this number depending on the number of entries.
Legal disclaimer: the stage will remain property of their creator, which will give me a non-exclusive license to use them in the game. The stage will be provided as additional game content without any charge to the users. The stage will be made available to
the players before the end of November, 2017.

How to import/export models for Schwarzerblitz
I have finally emerged from my slumber to prepare a new video tutorial on how to import the game models from Schwarzerblitz: After importing the model, one can follow the instructions in this video to prepare it for the game (minus the rigging part): The modding kit with the introduction guide is available for download at this link. In case of questions, feel free to comment or contact me.

8 facts about: H-168 Krave
Alright, ALRIGHT! It has been a while since I updated my dA page, BUT! I have been tagged by ~GrapplerGoddess (https://www.deviantart.com/grapplergoddess) and who am I to refuse a challenge? Here it comes 8 things you never wanted to know (maybe) about the cynical, fabulous secondary villain of my game Schwarzerblitz: killer robot dandy H-168 Krave
Krave loves dabbing. Yes, in 2065. Yes, it's a dead meme by then, but nevertheless he dabs. Always. Mostly to taunt his defeated opponent or to show superiority. It is unknown HOW or WHY it started dabbing, but yet he does. And he will never stop until the heat death of the Universe or his own demise, whatever comes first (spoiler: the
Ready for the Black Lightning?
Long time no write, huh? We can say that I was busy with life, Ph.D., and developing my game.
Schwarzerblitz is still going on pretty well: finally, almost each character has their own arcade ending!
I still have to thank ~Tetsuya-the-Wise (https://www.deviantart.com/tetsuya-the-wise) for creating Mono, because this character proved fundamental to give variety to the game, together with her pal Wally!
And what to say about :iconJimHoyer: and his Jenn? This character was the badass fighting woman I needed to give support to the main characters and steal the scene for her own!
Speaking of which, the gameplay has also been updated... a lot. Now, there is self-ringout, jumps are mor
